New camera app?

Is it expected that Google will release an updated camera app that will support the new Camera2 APIs and add features like burst mode, etc.? I'm really hoping this part of the Lollipop upgrade makes it possible for Android phones to have better camera performance.

This is something I'm also interested to know. While I don't have any major issues with the N5 camera, it would be nice to see a few extra features such as burst mode arrive with the launch of lollipop.

It would also be nice to see a snappier and more reliable auto-focus land from the get go. I appreciate the improvements that have been made since the atrocious version launched with 4.4, but it's still the one area where IOS absolutely nails stock Android. Definitely more work to do here.
