What's the best method to get shots on your phone from another phone or from desktop?

Have you checked out Google's free automatic backup? This syncs and you can find them in the Google+ app on other devices (including your iOS devices) and on a desktop browser. The phone can be set up to automatically upload on wifi or data or both. Another option is drop-box, etc.
