New Custom HTC keyboards

Has anyone gotten those new mod keyboards to work with the eris im trying but i cant seem to get them to work

I had no issues getting them installed. Just had to change the .zip to .apk and then use a file browser to install. However, the formatting for the keyboard display is waaaay off. Can only get roughly 1/2 of the keyboard to fit on the screen.

this is modded for a higher screen resolution... ie: Droid, and Nexus One.

Someone had mentioned they have contacted the developer and asked for a low res version that will work on this phone. IDK if he responded yet.

yah i was the one that found that out and i sent him a msg but i did not get a msg back yet

It won't even let me install the Android Central keyboard.

im pretty sure that you have to have 1.6 or higher for it or maybe 2.1 anyway there is not point in installing it cause it wont work for you
