So after a few months of having 2 devices 1 Droid X and 1 Blackberry Bold 9700 I decided it was time to consolidate due to the fact that my BB finally died after being dropped in water repeatidly. So I decided to come over to the Droid Pro and wanted to see what current users think of it. I am no new be to android have been with it since the OG Droid first came out but just wanted to see peoples reactions and if anyone had any complaints. Thanks Guys

I am looking to trade my droid x I. Pristine condition for a droid pro. Anyone wanna make a deal pm me and we can work something out.

I am enjoying every aspect of the droid pro. The ONLY complaint is the location of the home kets, in respect to the keyboard. if you are not careful, you will inadvertently press the menu, home, back, or search "soft" keys.

its a great phone. It runs extremely smoothly. My cousin got a droid x about the same time i got my droid pro, and my droid pro runs a lot smoother than his x. screen size is a lot smaller the keyboard makes it up big time.

The keyboard is the main reason I want to trade my Fascinate for one. I'm a texting/emailing maniac and I get haul with a touchscreen. I did come from a BB but Android is way too good to go back to that caveman OS.

I came to the Droid Pro from a BB Tour. I love the Pro. It has a couple of issues though (and the Pro is not the only Android phone with this issue). If you live and die by corporate email (exchange sync) then you may have some issues with the Pro. Most users experience a "random reboot" of their phones from time to time. Mine reboots itself on average of two times a week for no apparent reason, but the rebooting has not caused a problem so far. The speed, smoothness, form factor and versatility of the phone is great. You won't get great battery life so plan on getting the extended battery from Verizon...it makes a big, big difference in time between charges.

+1...it's a great device. Came from a BB Bold 9650, and needed a device with a keyboard and a better OS...thus the Droid Pro.

Just can't wait (and hope) for Gingerbread to be released for this device.

I really like mine for a lot of reasons- although I do miss the track pad especially when trying to edit email/texts- there are some things I like about my old BB Bold 9650 better- - but not enough to go back - I Also agree with JP that the the 1800mAh battery form Verizon is a MUST- I can usually go all day before needing a charge although I do charge every night-

I had been using the Samsung Fascinate. I could not deal with how buggy it was or it's lack of a keyboard. I do miss the BEAUTIFUL screen, but I like having a portrait keyboard & a phone on Froyo that doesn't freeze all the time.

Getting mine today for Sprint, I'm SO excited! Too bad ALL the sliders I've tried start to wobble after a while (Palm Pre, HTC Evo Shift) just couldn't take it...so frustrating! This phone has the perfect blend! Even though the keyboard on it gets a C+ compared to the A- on the blackberry 9650, I'm good!

Got mine for a week, coming from a Nokia E71 I was looking for an Android phone with a similar form, so far I love it. Although on first impressions I think I loved the nokia keyboard better, but I'll probably adapt with time. And the on-screen keyboard is actually not bad when in landscape mode.

I came from the Blackberry Tour 9630 keyboard so adapting was a bit easier since the keyboards are very similar. But it still took a little over a week to get it down. Like it better now though.

Agreed. This keyboard could be MUCH better just by certain key placement (swap the caps and alt button for one), but other than that and some sponginess on the keyboard, this phone gets an 8-10 from me! Love it!
