My turbo 2 wants me to update to the new software. I pushed off the time for it, and now it won't do anything. It won't let me update, but tells me I need to. What do I do?

Yep. I saw that too, but then the next day, the update downloaded on my device. No way do I want to install it.

Well, being that I don't have access to every DT2 on N, I cannot answer that question. However, I've seen it reported quite often and there is another discussion on the forums claiming that the N update was at least temporarily pulled due to a bug, possibly battery related.

My dt2 is now having very heavy battery drain as well since the update. My wife did not update and she is the same as normal, almost 2 days of light use.

I'm still getting 3-4 hours of screen-on time, and when I put the phone on the charger after 18 hours off the charger, it shows about 65% remaining. I have had no battery drain problems.
