New Droid Turbo and Can't figure out how to customize individual contact message notifications

I just purchased the Droid Turbo and I can't find anywhere on the phone to customize individual contact message notifications. :'( Is this not a feature on the Droid Turbo? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

You can set a ringtone to the contact, but that will only work when they call. Your text message sound will still be the same.

You can with third party Messaging apps. Textra is a good one that can allow contact notification tone customization.

Install the app and it will ask if you want it to be the default messaging app, and will transfer any text message conversations that you have stored already.
