'New' Droid X, used? Hundreds of pics on memory card, previously activated?

To the OP
I agree. Returning and explaining what you have found may get you out of a situation you wouldn't want to get stuck in further down the line with the pictures and or device(repairs, upgrades, etc). You even have run into a black market Droid supply program set up by these people. Maybe the girl works for them, lol

It's a used phone. Get your money back.

Yeah. You paid for a new phone, it was represented as a new phone, and you got someone else's problems and/or a hot item. And, you can get a refurb at Verizon's website for WAY less than you paid for your "new" one. Check those out so you have ammunition in discussing what they did you you when (if) you return it. The word fraud comes to mind.

I agree with both of these, and all the other posts to the same effect. You paid for a new device, but what you purchased was not in fact new. If they resist, the Better Business Bureau is another option. Their website can be found at United States and Canada BBB Consumer and Business Reviews, Reports, Ratings, Complaints and Accredited Business Listings (Wow, thanks AC auto format. www.bbb.org.)

Another option if they give you a hard time is to call fo-realz Verizon (800-922-0204. Is it sad that I know customer service off the top of my head?) and explain to them that one of their Authorized Resellers is pulling some shady nonsense. They won't like that. And, for the record, this is why i only do business with corporate (non-"authorized reseller") stores anymore. I got burned on a purchase once, and I'll never do that again.
