New Error Message

Well I got my replacement Bolt today and so far it is working so much better than my old one. But I keep getting this error message:

The process com.htc.bg has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Does anyone know what this means and why it is happening? I never saw this message before with my older Thunderbolt. Thanks.

Thanks Frank. I tried those and will see how it goes. The error message has already come up twice in the last 30 minutes this morning. Quite annoying...........

I'd also do the old battery/sim pull 2 minute drill. What OS are you on? Froyo? MR2? MR2s software is 1.16.x.x I think. MR1 was 1.13.x.x I think... been a while. I think the original rollout was 1.11.x.x. Could have the number wrong. If you're not on the latest available on the update site, keep doing a softwrae update to see if you can pic up the latest. GB is not up now though.

Also, you might want to go into the Blockbuster app and if you still have the oldest version, make sure it is set not to update the movie database in the background (an initial release issue). If it has a newer version there will be no such setting 'cuz the new versions don't do that anyway.

Yet another "also"... check that you don't have any duplicate syncs going on. IOW, don't have Google, Exchange and mail for example all trying to sync your contacts and calendar. PIck only one to sync any given item.

Do you have Backup Assistant enabled? Did you on your old phone?

Just trying to think of possibilities...
