So what are your top three features that you think that the Nexus Prime will introduce that will change the smartphone industry, or do you expect the Nexus Prime to just introduce a large screen and a large processor?

My hopes are
1. Better camera (not necessarily more pixels)
2. Button less
3. Edge to edge screen

We already know that ICS or 4.0 will launch with the device with probably a 4.5" display and a 1.5ghz dual core processor, but these things I think will make it pretty amazing Obviously those are not big game changers, but list some things that the prime might possibly introduce first.

what is edge to edge screen?

imho it will not revolutionize anything.
bigger screen, faster cpu/gpu, more ram, more storage, microSD, I don't think a better camera and ICS.

I really hope for a dual led flash... I know it sounds dumb but it really helps in low light

The design may turn out to be revolutionary. Everything else is just upgraded specs.

I don't see it as "revolutionary"...maybe because I think if something is "revolutionary," I don't think it's something we're going to be able to predict coming.

I do think, thought, that given the big letdown Apple served up yesterday, this phone could really do well and push Android a little further into the market. I expect a phone that is fast/snappy in the way the GSII was, while keeping the ball rolling with a new OS and more power overall. It may not be "revolutionary, but I expect it to be a really nice device.

Well at least they actually changed the design (looking at you iPhone 4S) :p

Edge to edge screen might cause unwanted touches while just holding the phone. You would have to hold the phone carefully and not let your fingers wrap around the phone unless they make the edges of the screen, maybe a couple of millimeters, not touch sensitive.

the phone with also have NFC with the new google wallet which i believe is REVOLUTIONARY

There were several rumors that suggested that camera performance would be a major emphasis - I know I certainly hope so. I don't really care about LED flashes, I want a CCD that works better in low-light conditions!

I think NFC and software buttons (along with a larger screen in the same sized phone) could border on revolutionary for many users. Also ICS will finally use GPU acceleration for all of the UI, the way WP7 and iOS do, so we should see a truly smooth GUI for the first time.

The hardware specs will probably be evolutionary, although again for most users if they can get good battery life and 4G in the same phone that will seem revolutionary.

Either way, I'm really looking forward to this!

The Samsung video says that some things go better together(or something like that) and mentions planner and fountain pen..you know design... Samsung is rumored to release the Glaxy Note with a stylus in Europe. So I wonder if the Nexus will have a stylus and be "note worthy" for ICS?

Nexus is called the developers phone so how are developers going to develop and test stylus apps without a phone and operating system that supports it?

Important:

-Huge capacity battery that is (easily) removable. Even if it makes it thicker, a high-capacity battery option is pretty much a must-have for my usage habits, seeing how the Bionic chews through batteries.

-Expandable storage. If they drop the ball here it's a deal-breaker for me. I personally feel they will continue on from the Nexus S and omit the microSDHC slot.

-HDMI out. Also not likely to happen. Instead we get the horribly bulky and clunky MHL adapter.

Not inportant to me:

-NFC
-Buttons. If we need to omit the physical buttons to get a bigger screen, then go for it. But if you can squeeze 4.6" into a reasonable form factor, then I am with with the buttons.
-Curved screen. Might be neat but I have no preference either way. I just want a big 720p OLED screen!

What I'm hoping for is an Android handset that finally puts it all together. Even the SGSII is lacking simply due to the screen resolution. As mentioned above, please give us a huge battery as well. A device that is a truly complete package from most all perspectives.

These are my wishes:

- An INCREDIBLE camera.
- A very thin device
- Metal chasis
- Large battery
- NFC (card companies are actually buying into it now)
- 720p screen (this is pretty much confirmed i think based on the release of the Galaxy S II HD LTE)

What I don't get:

I don't understand how buttons on the screen would work on a phone. On a tablet, theyh are annoying enough to me, since you can NEVER put them away. That becomes a distraction, and that's on a 10" screen. I can't imagine that on a phone. It will take away from the beuty of the screen, I think, if it is included.

I want a few simple things in ICS that have been lacking in stock Android and seem obvious:

- The ability to customize the dock items. (Seriously, we still don't have this? Is it 2005?)

- Power widget toggles in the notification area. Anyone who has used these will tell you they are great and it becomes second nature to on/off Wifi or GPS or Bluetooth right from the notification area. No additional screen space needs to be used for power widgets. Again, most skins do this, and it seems obvious to me.

- Re-flowing of text in the browser when you pinch zoom. (Again, really, we still don't have this in stock Android?)

- Some more polish and uniformity throughout the OS. I know that this is a generic statement, but with Mattias Duarte there now, I think this is a reasonable request. Android has become plenty functional, but not particularly beautiful or uniform. At some point it should be addressed.

- A more functional, customizable app drawer. I think this can be improved in many ways.

- Better dialer. Would it kill them to add speed dialing in 2011? (Press and hold "5" to call mom for example). Just about every other skin does this - Touchwiz, etc.

Other requests for me:
- I would like a great camera, but it's not critical for me, and I am confident it will have a good one (Samsung's cameras are very good IMO). I would like one that has a better sensor and optics though, Not more MPs.
- Good cell radio. Yes it's a phone and I want good call quality and good reception.
- Good battery life. Maybe a dream. But I can dream, right? :)
