New Firmware and Google Maps

Even with the new firmware now installed on my Thunderbolt, Google Maps still placed me a half mile away from my actual location, I thought the GPS fix in this new firmware would have fixed this?

After the update my gps locks in a couple of seconds now.

If my wi fi is on, it locks in fast and accurate. If not I am far away.

my wifi is off, only on 4g, and it's accurate to prob about 10'

Shut! Google maps is showing that I am at the toilet when I actually taking a bath.
Seriously now, it is working fine as it has been since day one.

Was the same way for me. Way off after update but if I use wi.fi. great. Download the Gps status and tool app. Great now maps and weather fine try it.

Several people have said that clearing their data and their cache in maps under manage applications have fixed their GPS errors.

Give it a try?

Non root, 3G. Google Maps worked before and after the update for me.

I'm having the same issue, still takes ~3 minutes to put me exactly where I am. Usually just shows me way off and accurate within 1200 meters

I lock within seconds and the location is spot on, both before and after the update. Perhaps clearing the aGPS cache and downloading again will help?
