I've said it before and I'll say it again, LG has been impressing me with this phone. The UI looks better than ever and the camera is every bit as good as my Samsung S6. Sure maybe one camera will be better than another from time to time, but at least it should not stop anyone from getting this phone.
LG did a great job and I highly recommend it to anyone looking at buying a phablet.

Yes and no. Yes because the S6 is one of the most highly anticipated phones and has the specs and reviews to prove it.I wish everyone would agree to this thought process! There can be 2 GREAT android devices! It is fine to say both are great!

No because of 2 big reasons, no easy to swap battery and no memory upgrade. That to me has made me mad to the teeth and unless I get an offer to get the phone for $99 on an upgrade have officially given up. I want to stick it to Samsung where it hurts the most, sales.

Yeah that's true, LG is trying to position themselves as 3rd place pretty much. Never know though just like the KIA years ago was unreliable and a joke they have received made their brand and now everyone has one.Well it's not hurting their sales and marketing of the phone. That's the problem when going up against a juggernaut company like Samsung.
I'm really curious about how the carriers are going to promote it. Samsung and Apple has always gotten the most visible help from all of them and I wonder if LG will spend the money to take them on on all of the fronts.
It would be real interesting if they made wireless charging backs available on launch day as well as providing the fast charging plugs too. This would show me that they are really listening to what many people are saying they want and would silence some of the criticism. Heck they are going to be upgrading the camera software before the release according to Colby Brown and that is awesome IMHO....

Hopefully they will have the wireless charging and Fast Charge cables bundled in the box. That would be great and a major move from LG.Well it's not hurting their sales and marketing of the phone. That's the problem when going up against a juggernaut company like Samsung.

You're very right, some side to side comparisons are very slight differences between the S6 and G4 which is has impressed me the most. Many times the G4 actually wins over the Galaxy flagship.
I wouldn't consider the G4 a phablet as its almost the same size as the HTC M9 / M8. But I guess that depends who you talk to.

Honestly the only negative I see in the device right now is the shaky video but since I don't use my phone for that it's fine.
There is no such thing as the perfect phone, maybe one day it will happen but it will take true innovation and genius to make it happen.

I think that there will be 4 great phones by the end of the year, all aimed at different users.
The S6 for the mainstream user who wants quality but doesn't want to give up function. While also for people who don't want tiny or large phones.
The Motorola X 15 for the people who want something close to stock Android and/or want a slightly smaller phone than the S6.
The Z4c for people like Jerry who want a tiny phone for easy one handed use.
Finally the G4. For people who want a great phablet but don't want a huge device. Or if you are not sure if a phablet is for you, this is the one to try and see if it could be your new daily driver.
To me Android is all about choice and this year I think that we are going to have quite a few great choices this year. But as of right now, I'm only recommending 2 devices. The G4 is clearly one of them and I didn't even get to play with one yet.

Right on...
LG is in a good position right now and if they don't capitalize on it someone better get fired.
Summer is almost on us here and they really need to start pumping out the commercials for just how good the phone is,as well as the camera is.
I would love to see some of Colby's commercials go into a all-out mainstream media blitz, because I think with his perspective and also with the flyover video being hammered on TV would boost sales like all get out.
They may never see IPhone lines outside the stores but nothing gets people who are interested into a store faster than good ole well done commercials for everyone to see and talk about.

I fully agree. LG has a much larger budget then say HTC when it comes to marketing. I've also have seen plenty of G3 commercials in the past 3 months.
They must now invest heavily in TV and Internet advertising or they are going to miss out and have a great product fail to capture the consumers eye and profit from such a wonderful phone.
Most consumers only know apple and Samsung. They hardly know LG unless they have a budget phone. If they fail to push this hard on consumers then they might lose out on future customers.
