New Galaxy 6 touchwiz for Galaxy 5?

I keep reading reports how great the new touchwiz is supposed to be for the Galaxy 6. Does anyone know or speculate if the new touchwiz will be available to download for the 5 too? or is that something Samsung usually doesn't do?

They normally don't do it, usually because they don't want to change things too much for people who already know how their phone works. Usually, each year when the new Galaxy comes out and updated version of Touchwiz comes out. So Lollipop on the S6 will just look differently than on the S5.

That's unfortunate, maybe they will update touchwiz when 5.1 comes out for the S5. I'll just be happy using Nova Launcher for now. Touchwiz actually isn't that bad on lollipop though.

It'll be next year around this time. The s3, s4, and s5 all came out march-april.

Someone may come up with an S6 custom ROM for the S5 but that would require rooting your S5. Which I plan on doing here soon as my Samsung 1 yr warranty will soon be a done deal.
