New Galaxy S9 freaking out

I just got a Galaxy S9 a couple of days ago and the touch screen seems to just be freaking out and not working properly. I read online that people have had issues with the keyboard on the touch screen (which I am experiencing) but my screen also skips to other pages when I touch a link or app, apps/pages open on their own, when I try to close apps others open instead, etc. It's like the phone has a mind of it's own. I have cleared the phone's cache but haven't done a factory reset yet. I don't know if this is pointless since people have had issues with only the keyboard and had to return their phones? Any ideas?

Edit: Even when I go to open a specific app, a different app opens half of the time.

You have to reset it or at least restart it and hopefully that fixes it. Where did u buy it

I had similar ghost behaviors caused by a poor quality screen protector. Took it off and installed Whitestone Dome and behavior back to normal...... Good luck
