Just got a Gear S2, still trying to figure out how to work it.

How can I get the calculator app set as a widget on the watch? It's one of the simple apps I use most and I can't figure out how to make it readily available. I can get to it by having the app shortcut as a widget, then selecting the apps icon then selecting the calculator.

So far I'm liking the watch but still trying to figure out how to work it and best use it.

You can't set it as a widget, although you can set the calculator as one of your first apps in the apps view

I had the Samsung free calculator app on my s2 and had to factory reset when I upgraded to the Note 7 and now the calculator app isn't showing up in the store... Is it still there?

I was just searching the forums for an answer to this exact issue.

I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 7 and had to reset the Gear S2 in order to pair. The free Samsung Calculator app that came with the watch is now missing and isn't on the Galaxy Apps store.

I'm very annoyed because the calculator was my most used app on my watch.

Very unfortunate but now I'm glad that I'm not going crazy and I'm not the only one... I am highly disappointed though, looks like I'll have to just give up a dollar for the material calculator

I also sent an email through the Help> Contact Us link in the Galaxy Apps application. I guess I'll update if they answer me.

Please keep us posted! Its not right that we have to pay for a calculator after months of having the Samsung one.
