New gingerbread release 605

Has anyone heard any new info on whether this may be the same as the official OTA? I'm thinking this may be it as it's been almost a month now since the original GB release. Wouldn't think they'd wait more than a month to get the fixed GB out or that there is time before the month's end for another build to be in the works. I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on this latest leak!

How long has the PDF page stated "2.11.605.5" is the offical Build Number? I checked yesterday and it was still .3?? Looks to be different patch notes for the update compared to .3 version as well. Least I think it looks different I can not for life of my find where I saved my screen from .3 version sigh.

I just checked that PDF earlier this morning and it still said 605.3. It now says 605.5!!! So this latest leak IS the same!!! They should be releasing the new OTA shortly! Although it still says "No new software available" when checking via the phone.

It's certainly a good sign.

I got the original Gingerbread on 9/28, which is on a Wednesday. I had read somewhere at some point that Big Red likes to release new firmware updates on Tuesday evenings. So it's possible we MIGHT see it tomorrow.

I think the last PDF got published on a Monday, come to think of it.

We'll see. If they're publishing the PDF, it can't be too far off. Maybe I'll finally have a use for that front-facing camera!
