New gingerbread release 605

I just updated to this leak and I'm having market issues. I have not had market issues with any other versions.

What I typically do is go to the market on my PC and from "my library" I push apps to my phone after I install a leak. After installing this 605.5 version, the market says there is no android phone associated with my account. This is preventing me from reinstalling my apps the easy way. I have done nothing differently than all the times before. WTF?????

Well after a period of time, it appears that this has straightened itself out. Never had to wait before...

I downloaded the original Gingerbread OTA, and the only problem I've had with it is that it's caused issues with Handcent. Every time I get a text, when I clear out my notifications, as soon as my screen goes off, it brings back the previous notifications from the texts I've already received. The only way to get it to stop is to delete the entire texting "threads" from Handcent. Not sure if this is an issue with Gingerbread, or Handcent itself. Kinda hoping it gets fixed one way or another, though.

Did you try clearing handcent cash or even reinstall? I've never experienced a problem with handcent.

I have an sms issues with go sms. After clearing my inbox, ill receive a message from person A, I reply to it and it goes to person A, but when I back out into my inbox it changes to person B. Person B was the actual person that sent the message. Then a few seconds later I receive a "what?" From person A because they have no idea why I sent them a message. Not sure if its GB or go sms.

So far pretty good here. I came from Gingeritis 1.05, so the install took a little longer than I expected (scared me a little). Obviously I lost root but I don't care. Seems like Wifi holds a better connection, but its still too early to tell.

Coming from Gingeritis 3D 1.06 we shall see.

Did a nandroid and app backup via My Backup - just in case.

False.

How is it false? Voice mail notifications fixed a long time ago, video in g talk fixed, never had sms or weather sync problems, HTC loggers easily frozen or deleted (already deleted for you if you use cubed)...the radios haven't changed...bamf even threw in sense 3.0 just for fun....

so during the install it states in hboot that it was unable to roll back hboot. Hmmmm. Install goes well everything seems to be working (haven't tried VM yet). I power off and then do the volume down and power button. Guess what it still says revolutionary and s-off. Im gonna try and install the super user file and see what happens now.

Revolutionary is designed so you can't accidentally remove the revolutionary bootloader. Even when loading an UN rooted ruu.

but now when I go into bootloader then select recovery all i get is the phone with the red triangle and exclamation point????

Update: went back and ran revolutionary file as administrator and selected y for yes to downlaod and flash recovery. all good now.

Deactivated my google voicemail to test verizon voice mail. left myself a message and it showed up in 30 secs as a notification.

checked the message, erased it, and the notification was gone in 20 secs.

Cool that 605.5 is coming soon. I think I'll wait for Team BAMF to take it apart and give us a new Forever/Forever Cubed ROM that I'll install. Good to see that the Radios were left alone. They are working fantastic as a lot of peeps have stated before.

Not sure about that. I only have one phone at the moment.
