Loving this phone so far. Just curious if there is a way to see my music to download to sd or is that something I will have to do manually?

Not quite sure what you're referring to here - what music is it that you're trying to "see"? Music on a PC that you want to copy to the SDCard in your phone? Music in the cloud that you want to copy to the SDCard in your phone?
If the former, there are many ways to accomplish that, including using a USB cable and Windows Explorer; using WiFi and something like Kies Air; or probably even apps that will allow you to sync your media library (can't make any suggestions there since I haven't done this, but you can search the forums and I'm sure you'll find other suggestions).

I want my music app to download straight to my sd card instead of having to move the songs. Is it possible?

What music app are you using?
Where is the music app downloading from?
Have you checked in the settings of the music app to see if it'll allow you to specify a downward location?
