Just a quick question about something that I have not found an answer to.

What do these two acronyms stand for?

OTA:?

SDK:?

OTA usually refers to an update..... means they send the info or update to your phone via the network. No need to use a cable to download the update/info etc.

The SDK is a package created by the guys at Android. It has all sorts of handy tools in it. It can be used in developing or testing, but it can also be used for things like rooting, modifying, taking screen shots etc.

You'll see it mentioned alot if you spend time in the hacking forums and as it pops up, you'll learn the different things it's used for.

It's the way Verizon officially updates most of their phones, the Motorola Droid/X/2 all receive updates over the air. They put the update on their servers and if you're impatient, sometimes you can pull the update or find a download link. If you wait Verizon will eventually push it to your phone.

Hey this is great thanks! I did not see this before! But I appreciate the extended explanations from before!
