New guy with a new Precedent

I saw an app for a Wi Fi hotspot conversion but it requires root permission. I am now running the pdaNET app on my USB cable and ti works fine, but a WiFi connection would be very nice. Any thoughts or experiences?

You either need to root or buy one of the paid tether apps.
