new headphones now won't connect to phone

Ok so my wife got her promo headphones and connected them to her phone (we don't have spotifi) so will use Pandora from her phone. But now the watch isn't connected?

You have to put music on your gear fit 2 pro and then connect the headphones to it in order to listen to music on your watch.
