Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums and looking to buy a Galaxy Nexus. I just had some quick questions I was hoping you could answer or maybe give me a link if they have been answered before. I understand what rooting is but what exactly are ROM's, Kernels, flashing, etc. and where do you find the custom ROM's, Kernels, etc. and how do you know what one to use. Next, I understand you can get 4.0.4. Has this improved the signal, battery, and other issues people were having? I just want to make sure I can get a good signal if I update 4.0.4. after I buy it. Also how much do custom ROM's improve battery life? Sorry if these have all been answered or are dumb questions. I'm just trying to understand everything before I go out and buy myself one. Thanks!
