Well, I got the itch and picked up the S8+ and love it. I have looked into lots of phones and after doing all my research, I decided on this one. Now that the Note 8 is out, I'm thinking on switching to that one. What do y'all think about that one???? I'm also thinking about holding out for the S9+.

Hello and welcome to the forums at Android Central!
The Note 8 is the best phone out there. If you don't need the S-Pen, I think the GS8+ will be fine.
I've had the GS4, GS5, GS6 edge and GS7 edge, they were great!
But realize I needed a Note series because my phone isn't only personal, I also use it at work. So instead of getting the GS8, I waited for the Note 8.
So, if you don't need the extra features the Note series offers, I'll say stay with the S series.
The GS9 will be better than the GS8, that's for sure.

Welcome to Android Central! If you are unsure of which phone to get, perhaps waiting it out and seeing what the S9 will be like (combined with playing with both devices in the store when you are able) will give you a better inkling of what you are looking for.
