Welcome to Android Central! I use my buds from my iPhone 6s with my Pixel 2 all the time, but I also use Beats bt buds when I am working out or hiking. They both work fine.

I also have a Beats BT headset that I use during workout, also LG HBS BT headset for all day use, they both work perfectly fine. But there are times when I prefer wired headset over BT, for example when I am flying and when laying in bed at night. For those times, I use my iPhone's stock headset, works fine but some functions don't work, for example, tap center button three times to go back to previous sound track.
