New HTC One TV Ads - What are your thoughts ?

B.t.w, while I do personally like BlinkFeed - it's still deficient in many ways (no custom sizes for individual tiles, very few individual news feeds/sources - I do NOT want to select a broad categories instead, no way to "prioritize" certain items over others, etc.) and HTC should really work on improving it before focusing on it in Ads...
Well, based on the Bud thread, HTC should really work on improving the device before releasing it to the public.
My son loves Blinkfeed on his One. I checked it out and it attractive. I agree with you about prioritizing items though. I use Flipboard and I have my items in descending order of importance. But then again I'm an information junkie. Seeing as studies say Americans read on an 8th grade level, I think Blinkfeed will work just fine for the masses.

I think that unless I actually see these on TV, it doesn't matter how effective they are. I've seen several S4 ads, but have yet to actually see a single ad for the One on TV.
I find it odd. I only see one ad. It's the one where the live rock band is playing on stage with its back to the audience and then turns around. It's a spot for Boomsound. HTC has parked all its ads on Youtube. I guess they're relying on the huge Youtube viewer base. But other than searching for these ads, you won't find them. Ads for the S4 show up randomly whenever you do searches for other items.
I offer that HTC doesn't stand a chance to make a turn around if they don't ramp up a full court advertising press, much as Apple and Samsung do.
Maybe HTC just doesn't want to risk losing the last bit of cash they have. I don't know.

I actually saw this ad yesterday while watching the warriors vs spurs game.
