New Issues when connected to Bluetooth

So, I've had my bluetooth since December. As of lately, maybe the past two weeks or so, I've noticed two strange things.

1) When I get a text, it comes over my bluetooth in the car, so I can read the message on the screen, but I can't respond. I used to still hear my text notification sound from the phone, now I dont. The phone vibrates, and I just see the icon pop up on my nav screen when the message comes in. Why did this stop? Pohne is set to normal profile, with all volumes maxed out, and I still hear my ringer when someone calls...

2) Also, I used to be able to make sure that volumes were all the way up, now, if I am connected to bluetooth and try and turn up the volume, it comes up with the "Bluetooth InCall Volume" and will not let me adjust ringer volume unless I go into the sound settings manually.

Any ideas? For some reason the phone seems to think that just because it is connected to BT, I am in a call and is not notifying me of it.

I've done a batt pull, cleared cahche's, everything short of a hard reset which I prefer not to do honestly.

Thanks!

What sorta car do you have? Like I have a brand 2012 Chevy Cruze Eco and I don't see any of these issues. So I have not personally seen it. :(

I don't know what the issue is, but have you tried unpairing and then re-pairing it?
