new Jellybean icon

I have just flashed JB 4.2.2 onto my Optimus T. Everything seems to be working except I have a new notification & icon. I have a icon that looks like the signal strength icon with a ? above it on the left side of the notification area. It says to sign into my network. I am on my phone network & do not have a data plan. When I push the notification it goes away for awhile but then comes back. What is this & how can I get rid of it? Thanks.

Try going into settings and turn off mobile data. That might stop the reminder.

Thanks. That got rid of the icon. Never had it before JB & always had mobile data enabled.
