New Mate 9 user needs help.

Hell-o all!

Recently purchased the Mate 9 after having the honor 8 for a few months.
I'm a Nova user and was wondering if the small up arrow above the dock that brings up the app drawer pictured below can be disabled?

I haven't encountered this feature previously with a similar setup on my Honor 8.
I'm not sure if this is something available in Nova or the phone firmware so I was hoping another Mate 9 owner could offer advice.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yep. Open Nova Settings, then App & Widget Drawers, and turn off the Swipe Indicator.
