These things are very complex, but they'll do what you ask of them. At first, its really intimidating, but as you use the phone, it'll all start to make sense. My best piece of advice is to just play around with your phone a little.... go look in the settings, play with widgets, etc. If you run into something you don't understand, google it and you'll get a quick answer.

Android is a very easy thing to pick up. You'll do well.
