Alright guys I found it. It's not under advanced settings for me, smooches are you on a Note8? Either way, it's under the name "Chat settings" which at first seemed strange, but it makes more sense now that I think about it.

I'm getting my phone tomorrow, and I'm on T-Mobile as well. If I recall correctly, the Note 7 didn't have an "off/on button" for "Advanced Texting" because Its already built-in. My friend who had the Note 7 as well, we was able to communicate and see each other text confirmation/texting status as well as able to make video calls from the dialer stock app.

I don't think we would see the option on the Note 8, but I'll report back when I get my phone tomorrow (hopefully Lol)

i don't have that option on my Note8. I have it on my S8 (not using it since i got the note8 a week ago), my bf has it on his S8. I want that back -.-"
