New Moto 360 not charging

I just got a Moto 360, it had 3% remaining battery out of the box. It barely got through the tutorial, then it died.

I tried charging the watch but it wouldn't charge. The cradle charging light wouldn't turn on either.

Even though I was using a power outlet that was charging other devices up to the moment I plugged the charging cradle in, I tried to plug it in another outlet. Then it suddenly started charging in this second outlet.

I saw it charge to up to about 25%. The next time I checked it had dropped to about 3% and the screen was showing a notification that told me an update had been downloaded and was ready to install. I decided to turn it off to allow it to charge without depleting the battery. It didn't started charging again and never turned back on.

I tried different outlets and different charging bricks, same results.

I won't be able to take it back to the store for the next five days, any idea to make it work in the mean time?

I had the same. Let it charge for an hour or 2 hours. It does deplete the battery by itself on first charge.

Someone said it's does that to know the end points of the battery. The 0 and 100%.
So be patient. And remember to have a full charge you need to let it charge for an extra hour after it shows 100%.
