new moto x update dramatically-improves-camera-quality

The update took about 5 minutes vs their estimate of 6 minutes when the prompt came up. I'm now running on version 139.14.1.en.US.

awesome. :D. Where do i go to grab mine? Went to "Update Motorola software" but nothing doing, or do they staggardly roll them out.

Mine popped up on the phone this morning - I didn't go looking for it. I suspect they're rolling them out to keep from overloading their servers.

Has anyone confirmed that this has fixed their choppy voice issue?

Has anyone here confirmed that their choppy voice issue was fixed by the update (any carrier).

I have several variables I am looking at in regards to my next phone. Nearly certain to be the X or the next Nexus.
I find this phone really attractive, but am waiting to see how things shake out with upgrades on Verizon. Well, upgrades and Motomaker.

Hopefully, by Christmas I can know
How quickly the X Updates on Verizon
If 32GB is ever in the cards for it.

If 32GB is in the cards for the next Nexus
The answers to the first two questions which determine my desire to stay on VZW ('cause the Nexus sure as heck won't be on VZW)

Verizon always seems to lag behind on updates...Im sure they trying to figure out how the verizon navigator will work with this..lmao

On the Moto X support page it says the shipping version for VZW is 139.12.57.ghost_verizon.
Verizon.en.US. This is not the one on our phones but aligns to the new T-Mobile version. Wonder if it is a mistake or the update is coming soon?

It's coming soon. It's about the camera, but it's also very much because of the sound issue. People can tolerate bad photos but no one can tolerate what's going on with the voice issue, this will get pushed out to everyone in a matter of a few days.

The rest of the carriers should be racing to get this update out. Kudos to T-Mobile for moving so quickly.

I believe that the T-mobile version was pushed so quickly because it has zero bloat. It so nice, out of the box there is nothing on this phone that has anything to do with T-Mobile. I could only hope that all updates get pushed to this basically unlocked/unbranded phone first.

I was planning to leave T-Mobile for AT&T but just couldn't give up my unlimited data plan so I went with an S4. I really hope T-Mobile get's it together and offers the Moto X in stores or on their website eventually. I'll most likely use my Jump trade in for get the Moto X if they do.

32GB will be available when MotoMaker launched on Verizon.

Or you can get the Developer Edition.

Has there been Public Confirmation that VZW will get the 32Gb model? If So I missed it. I'minterested it becuase I tend to keep my Phones a long time [Still on Droid2G] so while I am 99% sure I wil be getting a Moto X for Christmas I would prefer to get a 32GB one.
