Does UPS deliver on Thanksgiving?

No, nor do they deliver the day after Thanksgiving. If you don't receive it by Wed, then you're out of luck until the following Monday.

Edit: Looking more closely, I believe Friday is a go as long as it was shipped overnight or 2nd day. Only ground is excluded.

I placed my order at 8:33 PST with no problems while ordering and my date has changed on Google Play from Nov. 13 to Nov. 17th with an estimated ship date of the 15th. If it doesn't get shipped out tomorrow then I probably won't get any updates until next Monday because of thanksgiving. Anyones date changed from Nov 13 to the 17th on Google Play? Anyone know why or just them dicking around some more?

I used MS because it's the abbreviation for Mississippi which is where the device is heading. Said it will be here tomorrow but it doesn't show anything like package weight so it could literally be anything going to someone else. Hoping that doraville georgia is a google shipping hub or something but only time will tell. I'll update tomorrow.

When I returned the phone (the day I received the phone was when it was announced), it went to TX and the reference was the return number (RMA and then some numbers). It also explicitly said on the box that 'DESC:' was a 'Galaxy Nexus HSPA+'

One thing I do remember noting about the inbound packaging was how noting on the label or box had anything to do with Google. The return address was not Google. It was just some generic address I don't remember. I am guessing that the reference number is your phone number or order number, but nothing to do with Google or Nexus.

Yeah i've searched google and all of that and found nothing. It wasn't until I typed in the abbreviation for the state I live in that it pulled up this particular package coming to my town tomorrow. I need to just stop worrying about it haha

One sentence...Google, please hire everyone here for your next nexus 5 launch... if at all you want it to be sold quickly....Seriously, no sort of communication... damn... you could have used microsoft excel in the worst case and sorted the date/time ordered and managed it, instead of using notepad or sticky notes...

*there are training classes online that teach your employees on how to use excel, just in case they don't know...

Same here. Ordered 8:32 PST, Play updated to Nev 17th with estimated ship date 15th. Pending charges dropped from credit card. Not sure what is going on with the phone...

17 minutes was the true time... but it opened for sales again after 12 noon est... and some lucky people out here were able to get one at 2 pm est.... that was a hell of a launch....

I ordered at 08:27am GMT/UTC (00:27PST / 02:27CST) and have had the back order email and my ordered date still says the 13th and my delivery estimate the 15th. I was told on the phone it is definitely on back order.

Oh well, have to be patient

Yeah, I got the shipping email from Google on Friday. The tracking number wasn't showing anything on UPS at that time. My play store statis changed to shipped on the 16th.

Nope, mine has been listed as COMPLETE since the 13th, no other updates since then.

That is why I said most . A lot of people who have not gotten anything other than the initial confirmation email had a date change to the 17th. And most were also very early orders.
