New Nexus 4 purchase: Anyone get a shipping notification or tracking number?

17th to 19th.

Ship date still says the 15th and no charges have been applied to my CC. I hate to be a Buzzkillington but I think we're no better off than we were last week.

Anyone get a hold of CS to see what this means if anything?
 
people who have not seen a change (still says the 13th), what time did you order and did you previously get a back order email? Most people who are seeing changes ordered < 8:40 PST and have yet to get anything other than the initial confirmation.

8:50 PST and no backorder email.

My suggestion would be that if you haven't seen a change yet, call CS and demand your order be elevated to a specialist. Of course, if Google holds true to form, the specialist will handle your order first, even though mine reached his desk a couple of hours earlier. :(
 
How are people thinking that calling is making any difference....especially when every person gives you a different answer.

Mine still says the 17th. 11:41 EST no backorder email.

I just love how my Nexus 7/HSPA is backordered along with it and there is "no way to change the order and ship them separately". Maybe I should have paid $26 in shipping... I also noticed she was reading from a script, so anyone who thinks these CSR are going to give you any useful information, might want to think twice. Literally, some of the lines were word for word on what the last CSR said, and didn't even answer or apply to my question.

Mine still says 13th. Ordered 11:43 EST, no back order email. Called CS on Saturday; rep said I should be fine.

Wow, I feel bad for you. I don't understand how they could have messed this up so badly. What's weird is my order never said completed until I actually got a shipping email. The whole time it said "pending" I ordered at 11:38 EST and consider my self lucky to be getting my devices today. I ordered a 16GB N4 and 32GB N10.

Back when I preordered the N7 and they had all those problems, I swore I would never preorder from Google again. I thought that since they didn't have a option this time it would go a little smoother. It probably won't make you feel better but, It has always been this way when I've ordered straight from Google on the new Play store. There has always been people who ordered after me getting their device sooner, even this time. Something is seroiusly flawed with their system and they need to get it worked out.
 
Called cs because I didn't want to be left out... :-) fwiw(probably nothing), he said if no backorder email received, there is a device for you and to watch out for an update soon.......


We shall see.
 
No change on my info yet since the change in the Play Store to the last update date becoming Nov 17 from Nov 13. Based on the first couple days of this debacle, shipping confirms were out at 4am EST and I've got nothing so looks like I won't be getting my N4 until next week. FML.

When I ordered my 2 8gigs (around 4 hours apart) I recieved two confirmation emails, however I only recieved one backorder email. If anyone is in the same boat has your earlier order updated at all?
 
my (1) 16Gb N4 just got updated to the 19th strait from saying the 13th. But still no shipping email

I had been hoping against hope that my order being marked "Completed" (I didn't actually look in Play Store until maybe 20-30 minutes after placing my order) meant that they processed the early orders very quickly and mine would be on a truck no later than Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

I have also been living with the fear that my order (or many early orders) was erroneously marked Complete and thus is not being processed at all because, after all, it is already "Complete."
 
Just got off the phone with a google rep and git this email afterwards:
"Thank you for contacting Google. It was my pleasure assisting you today. We are working to ship all items in your order as quickly as possible within the 3 week timeframe. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is processed and on it's way."

I "should" get my tracking number by tomorrow or wednesday. Yes right... as the last rep told me that I will get my phone by tuesday...
 
Ordered 1 8 GB @ 11:33AM EST only got confirmation email @ 11:34 and nothing after that. No date change in play store, still says ordered on 13th and shipping estimate on the 15th

The thing that amuses me is, when did two days + two days turn into "within the 3 week timeframe"??

From an earlier email after one of my own CS calls (received 3:22AM EST 11/16/2012):

Orders are shipped within two business days of placing your order, and will be delivered upon two additional business days of processing.
 
Just for the heck of it called the CSR again this morning to find out about the date changes to 17th and 19th, and this is what i heard from John, If the order date is still 13th, you are on the safest train, your shipping labels are ready with the old date and hence they did not update your date on wallet or playstore... your order will ship today for sure, and for those whose order is changed to 19th, will ship after 3 day processing or maybe placed on backorder until the stock arrives. This is what that guy had to say, i am not sure if he is right... but it definitely screws us up ....

*EDIT* - Can someone else call and find out the same? This guy seemed to be very confident in his reply.
