New Nexus 4 purchase: Anyone get a shipping notification or tracking number?

I just realized that an email with shipping info came in an hour ago at 9:04PM Central time. Up to now I had received no emails and there had been no change in Play or Wallet since the order (qty 1 8GB only) was placed on the 13th. Now it shows the 20th as the last update and status has changed from pending to shipped. Whew! (My contract with Verizon is up in 5 days and I really want to cancel with them on that day. The N4 release was good timing for me, and thank goodness I was lucky enough to order one and will finally get it.) Good luck to the rest of you who are still waiting.

JUST GOT A TRACKING NUMBER! Wallet says "shipped November 19", Play Store says "Date: November 20", UPS tracking isn't updated yet.
They just may get this to me tomorrow

i just got a tracking number too. shipped date of November 19, playstore says November 20...why the difference in shipping dates??? I'll be damned if they deliver it that fast, my bumper took $*#*ing 3 days to ship/deliver to me to the east coast from the date/time it was "shipped". i cant believe i got my case before my phone.

Everything Google put out said "delivery in 3-5 business days", which ends tomorrow.

This. I ordered mine at 12:47 pm EST and no notice yet. It makes sense that those who ordered around 11:35 am EST seem to be getting notices since they ordered earliest. I think Google needed a minute to un-eff the whole thing. This trickle will probably turn into a flood.

I think you are the first person to get a shipping notice who also got a backorder email. Unfortunately for me, my order was about 4 hours after yours.

Hi Daren, I actually have a second order, placed about three hrs after that one, for my friend who was unable to get his through right away. Still, I'm just glad things are moving because I honestly thought they had no phones left and had to wait form more to be made (that's how impressed I was with Google lol).

Shipping notice could be delayed... when I ordered my Galaxy Nexus I got the email at like 3:30am

I ordered 11:36 EST and still no email. I may get it later on in the night but I ordered pretty early and should have gotten one by now.

Hey Guys I just got a UPS EMAIL SAYING MY ORDER SHIPPED. HERES SO INFO.

I ordered at 11:41 est from my phone (Galaxy Nexus)
I have been calling CSR all weekend nonstop
They escalated my case twice
CSR did tell me though that it seemed that my card was being recharged over and over again (liked refreshed) and that may be the reason why order never shipped. He said he would escalate it to a specialist and I should get a tracking number tonight or tomorrow. So guys if you call CSR make sure that your cards arent in a charge refresh state!

Other than covering their behinds? Probably not. More like a safety blanket. If we get it before, good, if not, you were informed of a "indefinite" backorder.

So I got my N4 today,

Ordered 16GB N4, bumper, 16GB N10 at 11:53:13 PST. My brother wasn't able to get an order through, so I managed to get in an order for an 8GB N4 for him at 10:13:14 PST. Got the dreaded BO email at 12:03 PST on 11/15/12. Got a shipping confirmation for the 8GB N4 @ 01:08 PST on 11/17/12, which should be delivered tomorrow according to UPS tracking. Nothing for my first order, which is the only one I care about.

Called support tonight to see if they had any updates for me. CSR said that they sent out BO emails to anyone who ordered "in bulk" which according to her includes my 2x N4's along with my N10. Not sure if that's true at all, because I don't know that everyone who got a BO email ordered 2+ N4's. She had no additional information for me aside from saying it would be within 3 weeks.

At this point, I'm not expecting my 16GB N4 to get here this week. Hopefully it will be shipped out by Wed or Fri so I get it early next week though. My brother managed to get an order in for a 16GB N4 later in the day on the 13th, but he's BO'd as well. My roommate said he'd sell the 8GB N4 at cost to a friend of his in Spain when he goes there next month.

Overall, I'm none too thrilled with Google's handling of this whole thing. I've tried to just accept the fact that Google plain sucks when it comes to products with an actual physical existence. It's a shame because I really love the Nexus line. I really hope they hire some people to help with this stuff during the next launch or they contract the work out to someone else who knows what the heck they're doing.

Also hoping that the BO email going to people who ordered 2+ N4's isn't correct or it'd make it a double bummer that I ordered the 8GB for essentially no reason since my brother was able to get his order in for the 16GB model instead, even if it is BO'd.
