New Nexus 4 purchase: Anyone get a shipping notification or tracking number?

Still waiting for anyone who received a back order e-mail to get some sort of notification. Then we'll know the next batch has gone out. I should be on that batch.

Based on the form I put up, most people who got the shipping email were ordered from opening (16:30 to about 16:41 UTC)

Just recieved mine like 20mins back. Gonna play with it for a very long time. Let you know what i think about it.
 
I checked my credit card and I haven't been charged yet. Google Wallet shows that they charged it on the 19th. Does anyone have an idea what is going on here?

P.S. : I know we were/are all upset. However, when you get this phone in your hand... Its really nice.

Exactly this. It's on the way, you have shipping info, stop complaining. A lot of us have received absolutely nothing, and placed orders before you.

True, we have all been there, just before we got out shipping info. Just be happy you got and post whatever comes handy for the rest of them. Rest can be worked out inanother thread.

I just got an email saying to expect the phone today and the delivery information also? Hunh? Are others getting their phones without delivery info?

I was told by CSR that it may take a couple of days for the charges to show up on credit card / bank accounts. I believe this jives with rumors that the hold up was not with shipping specifically but with payment processing problems. The CSR indicated that all phones would be shipped out last night via NDA and they would deal with the payment processing over the next several days.

Does anyone know if you have to sign for the package? I work nights and would like to go to bed now but will off myself if I miss the delivery as I slept through the knock -_-

I work nights too. Mine was delivered at 10 . did not have to sign

I received the following reply this morning as well.

Please be rest assured that Nexus 4 orders are being delivered based on the order in which they were received. Shipping ?within 3 weeks? is the only information I can provide at this time. I will only know the scheduled delivery date when you receive an email notification that your order has been shipped.

Conflicting emails are awesome. One tells me if your ordered on the 13th you will get your phone on the 20th. And then after I was sent to a specialist they finally emailed me 13 hours later telling me if I received a back order notice to expect it in the 3 week timeframe given. So frustrating. Would love to get it today but would really love just a straight answer.

Was given shipping info last night and followed it through out its journey. At 10:27 am, my phone was listed as delivered, left at front door.

Since I was home all morning and did not hear anyone knock or ring the doorbell, I rushed to the front door. When I flung it open, I noticed my doormat and planter but no phone. Thoughts of my phone either stolen or delivered to the wrong address were coursing through my mind. In a rush, I dialed UPS customer service. The bot had me enter my tracking information and promptly stated that the tracking number was not associated with any packages o.o. I then tried to get a hold of a rep, but was thwarted at every turn. As I still had the bot on the line and rage was building, I heard my doorbell ring. The clock on the stove said 11:10 and my phone was sitting on the doormat.

It appears that the UPS driver marked the package delivered at 10:27, 43 minutes before she actually dropped it off. Dirty pool, driver, dirty pool. Any who, I have the lil bundle of awesome and I am finally pleased.
 
Have ANY Canadians had theirs shipped at all? When was yours shipped? I have had no information sent to me about my order.

Yes. My co-worker is getting his today, it's coming from the Concord UPS location. Should be here soon.

Does it say where the phone came from before Concord? I'm also in Toronto but my phone is in limbo...

The only thing I got was an auto-reply last week after I emailed support saying my phone should ship end of day Nov 15 . That was followed by this funny email saying: "Thank you for contacting Google Play Support. We're glad we could help address your questions in our recent email to you regarding your inquiry." Since no one actually followed up with me, I think they feel that auto-reply was sufficient to address my questions lol
