New Note 10+

Just swapped my Note 8 for the 10+. Just wondering what are some of the new everyday use cool features I should be taking advantage of, particularly with the s pen.

I'd be hard-press to call any of the features of the S-Pen "everyday" features (and that's even if you are a daily note-taker), but other than the accelerometer for remote scrolling on the browser or opening the camera/taking pictures remotely, not sure there are any features you'll find that aren't on the Note 8 already.

If that's your thing, AR Doodle is cool, but again, hardly something I'd see myself using every day. If you use DeX on a daily basis and you fancy a more appropriate mouse, you can install S-Mouse and use your pen as a magic wand to control the cursor on screen (just bear in mind that movement is a bit jumpy at times, and it only works as long as you aren't holding your pen vertically as the accelerometer is disabled in the pen when it's in a vertical position).

Using Dex on my work laptop since it requires a USB-C connection only. I've used night shot a few time with good results. Enjoy it, came from an iPhone XS and don't regret it one bit.

I came from a Note 8 too. My favorite S Pen feature is using it as a camera remote. I put my phone into a tripod mount and positioned it for good shots, then I just used the S Pen to trigger video recording during my daughter's gymnastic meets. I could easily record the beam routines of the girls on her team.

Night shot is...ok... I'm not impressed by it. I've gotten better results using the standard Photo setting for night photos.

The Live Focus mode for the camera is slick. Also, the ability to charge other devices is kinda handy. I'm charging my Gear Sport watch as I write this.

DeX is cool. I don't use it a lot though. I do use the Link to Windows every day. That allows me to send and receive texts while either my phone sits on a charger, or like now charging my watch.

Over all it works well with my Surface Pro 5, Tab S5e, and Dell desktop.

After I got my phone. Got everything transferred.
My note 10+ seemed to . get better as I used it.
The speakers got stronger.
Tell me I'm imagine things.

I set the side screen up so I could take screen shots with it.

Started changing things so I liked it.

Drug Google chrome out of the google app and drug it to the front page.

Started setting it up to how I liked it.

Watched some Youtube videos on my computer on the note 10+

I got to say, It has turned into a super nice phone.
Like the big screen too.

Wished the fingerprint sensor was still on the back Oh.

I will not complain cause a lot of mfg has discontinued it.

Keep using it.
