This is my first Note. I had an.S8+ which I traded in for this and I am very happy with it so far. What a great phone. I was impressed with the S8+ but this does beat it.

So far I am very happy and Verizon was hands the best in helping me upgrade early.

I have 3 note 8's and we just added mom on with an S8.
To be honest, the note 8 is the best phone I've ever owned. With that being said, if you're not accustomed to using the
S pen, you might as well kept your S8+. Then there's my old saying, buy what you want, you're using it.
My mother would never use an S pen. So the S8 was perfect.

It's not just the size of the battery that matters. I upgraded from a N3 with a 6400 mah extended battery to the N8 with a battery only half the size. Yet, I'm getting nearly twice as much SOT with the N8.

That's so funny because I'm the exact same, cant wait to hear first impression after a few days and then now we have them in our cult Lol

I have had so many phones and always go back to note series. Latest phones were pixel XL and S8 Plus. There is nothing out there, and I mean NOTHING, that comes even close.

Had mine since September 14th and been one beast of a phone. The Samsung lag we all came to hate is now history. I have witnessed zero lag so far. Great performance.

android used to be a bit about maintenance to keep it running smooth but the Note 8 isn't at all.

How did Verizon help you upgrade early? Very interested.

Basically they told me I could add a 3rd line and put the note on it and switch numbers which they said I could cancel the line.i called to cancel the line and they I could do that. So I would return it and pay down my s8+ then do a trade. I called back and the lady I spoke with gave me a better deal a credit to keep my existing note and trade the S8+ in.

She was great to deal with.
