I went to my T-Mobile store last week for a look see with my LG G3. It was boring me a bit. I never did customize it much and well...The store was being frequented by the regional sales rep from Samsung. He got ahold of me big time and showed me the S-note feature and how sweet the phone works. I left with a Galaxy Note 4. I did not even know about the Edge. I figured the Edge out at the display at Best Buy and the bug bit me. It took 8 days, but I ordered one since very few of these stores stock many, and picked it up the next day.

I was really hesitant. The Note 4 is such a beast. Well, the reviews about the Edge being not as quality of a feel or the battery life being worse really have not washed with me. I think it feels other-worldly amazing and I think she gets better battery than my Note 4 was getting. That thing seemed to be draining and tried a lot of tweaks to get it to slow down.

I have gotten some incredible responses from people. I am in love with the phone. By far the best experience I have ever had with a phone. I really do not see this as a gimmick, but a wave of what is to follow. Glad to be aboard for the ride. :)

Glad to see you loved the phone :) I was a little surprised Samsung didn't do the same for the S6 Edge and went for a different approach on the curved screen, but let's see what happens in the future.

Don't forget your 50% of accessories by registering your phone on Samsung.com you can buy more than one item.

I was shocked that the new S6 edge does so much less with its edge.

Much less with its edges. They appear to look nice (I haven't seen one in person) but lack the functionality of the Note Edge. Hopefully Samsung sticks with having a larger Edge display on the Note series instead of cutting it back making it an aesthetic option.

To the OP: enjoy your Note Edge. I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago and have been loving it. I use the Edge display a lot, especially when switching between apps. I don't think I can go back to a "normal" smartphone now. I just hope Samsung/Verizon doesn't botch the Lollipop upgrade like they did with my S5.
