New Note Pro 1.2 Video Problems

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just received my new 64gb Note Pro 12.2 a couple of weeks ago. Not bad, a little difficult to hold in one hand, but that's not an issue. My issue is video. I can play most videos from YouTube and other sites I frequent. However, the video on a few sites do not play, or I can play just a single video of the 100's available. In the second case, I get the video blank screen, like the content is being buffered, but the Play button is ignored.

The sites in question are generic woodworking or photography sites, so the videos are not infected with all sorts of external references to porn sites, etc... I also experience problems logging into the restricted/paid-for areas of a site. It has even gotten to the point where I had to restart the tablet to get back into the site in question.

I should say that I experience none of these problems using my wife's iPad within moments of trying something on the Note Pro.

I am about to return the Note to Amazon for a refund, but before I do, I thought I would cast about for possible reasons and solutions.

Welcome to Android Central! Which browser are you using? If you're using the stock Browser, try a different browser like Chrome, Dolphin, Boat, or Maxthon.
 
I was having the same issue and like b.diddy stated try using a different browser, and I don't know if this had anything to do with it but I also installed a archived version of flash player from the Adobe site. One of those or both worked because I'm no longer having those that problem.
