new note3 2 issues

got a new note3
but I have 2 issues
I allways make some text files on the external memory card
but it gives a error when saving
after reading it seems kitkat refuses writing correct?
so I would need to root it and change it?

2nd I have had yesterday someone calling me, but it said it was switched off to this person, while it wasswitched on
then I got many sms telling me I got missed calls ( which you get when phone is switched of and someone called you telling you you missed some calls)

before I have a s3 and have this same problem
then I changed sim card on advice here and it never happened again
could the sim card be broke again after 2 months or so?
on the other side in the s3 it works still ok?

What carrier are you with? Im guessing TMO or ATT since you mention swapping SIM cards.

The call issue is up to your provider. And the note 3 4.4 was supposedly better for external mem card savings but its not. Im sure with root there is a way around it but its up to you to weight whats better. Good luck
