New order status showing - expected ship date 7/9

Anyone who ordered over the phone seeing this change? When I enter my name/order number/location code, all I get on the next page is my order number...no status at all.

After being frustrated at the fact that Verizon couldn't help me out with my Galaxy Nexus, I pre-ordered the SG3 (using another line's upgrade). When I look up my order status, I get the same thing - no status, just an order number.

Edit: After reading some other posts (maybe I should've done that first), I entered my pre-order number, however after checking it with the preorder website, I have a "We received your order and it is in process," and on the other one on the Verizon site, it's showing "Not available at this time."

Nope, cleared history and dumped cache and it still shows no date available after having shown 7/9/12 for several days.

Went to Google Chrome, and still no expected shipping there either...

I'm sure it's just a glitch in the system, but the way my luck is going today, the system probably cancelled my order!!!

It's not a caching error, it's for realsies. Apparently not everybody is affected and some are seeing it while others aren't. But there are lots of other people on other internet boards seeing the same thing.

One person speculated that this must mean Verizon will be shipping sooner and that the 7/9 date showing on that page was simply a placeholder date.

Another person speculating that this means that Verizon may have found a glitch with their software/network and that the phone is delayed in a repeat of the Thunderbolt release saga (which was essentially Verizon saying the phone didn't work right and they would release it when it was fixed at an unknown future date).

Me? I think it's nothing

WTF mine went from ship date of july 10 to "not advailable at this time". I hope this isn't some ploy from vzw!!!

This shouldn't be overly surprising seeing as how order status was giving random dates and sometimes giving the not available at this time message. Pretty obvious that Verizon's order status checker is a POS. I am going with the just now made up rumor by me that the phones are shipping today and they are updating status!

I have two orders placed via the website, one at 4:30am PST June 6 and the other at 7:00pm PST June 12 and both went from showing a 7/9/2012 ship date to Not available at this time.

Mine says 7/10. I just hope Apple doesn't win an injunction against the phone before then. But I'm sure Samsung's lawyers did a good enough job telling the designers to make a blue pebble and not a black rectangle.

Not sure why the Over the Phone option isn't updating correctly but you can put your Preorder Confirmation # (the bigger number) in the VerizonWireless.com section where is has order number and that will give you your date.

This is assuming your having the same issue that I have.

Btw, ship date is 7/9. Since, ya know, everyone is posting it...
