New OTA 5.0

This is more proof of the type of service to expect from Sprint. Over two weeks now and no info on phone updates to cover current issues after being told their on the way..:banghead:

I just updated on Monday. One thing I noticed was that I went from about 100mb free to over 150 mb free on the phone. Anyone else see this?

Hey thank you I didn't even notice that one.

Can anyone tell me now that I've disabled things like the blockbuster app, how can I keep play store from listing it as an app that needs an update?

I while ago I deleted all the updates from apps I don't want and don't use, to help with my memory problem. (on my phone, there is no help for me) after I disabled it still tells me there are updates available. I guess the OCD in me finds it irritating.

Menu-Settings-Applications-Manage Applications, Go to the all tab and click on something like Blockbuster and you'll see disable there.

Thank Coalming for mentioning it, I wouldn't have even know if it wasn't for him.

I'm clearly missing something. All I see lit up is uninstall updates

I'm stock so I just downloaded the OTA update, could that be the difference?

I know this is a stupid question but you're looking at the bloatware right? Something like that Nova game? I don't know if it will work on the sprint zone app.

(on a side note, I find it funny that my spell check see's bloatware as a real word)

I honestly have no idea. I can't find this disable button. Does it have anything with me using Go Launcher instead of Sense?

Nope, I'm using GoLauncher and the "disable" button is there... It's the same location as the "uninstall" button is located on the downloaded apps. I disabled everything I could but my question is this.... What does disable do exactly? I didn't gain memory at all disableing them so is this just a battery thing? Meaning, will just save the battery buy not having them run?

For me it's just a visual "thing" I don't see them in my apps anymore. It just looks like they are gone.

Maybe someone with more grey matter between the ears can say. I do wonder if it helps with RAM.
