New Owner Youtube usage question

I had the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 for about one week. Only one thing kept me from keeping it, watching youtube videos going from Landscape to Portrait or vice versa the video would stop or pause and wasn't continuous. So I exchanged it for the Note 8.0 which solves this problem. The constant stopping and pausing of videos drove me nuts. Anyone know of a fix for this for the 8.0 Tab 3.

Does the video actually pause while rotating the tablet or does it continue playing during the transition between orientations but only the audio keeps going for a slight second before the video itself syncs up again?

The videos ( image and sound) just stops and I had to either hit play again or wait it solves itself which was not quick at all. Never had a smartphone do this, it just rotates itself and goes on. I took it to BB and the guy could not make it work out.
I loved the TAB 3 8.0, was more comfortable and cooler looking. Like a hugh phone.
