New owner

Just saying hi guys, just picked up this phone, came from a EVO3D. I liked my EVO but kept having hardware issues so I made the switch.

I like this phone but I will say that Sense is a million times better than Touchwiz, it's not even a fair comparison IMO. But with that said this Samsung is a nice phone. I'll miss Sense but so far I'm happy with the switch.

You'll get used to it. I felt the same way. After awhile you wont miss some of the missing or different features as much and some you can find apps that may help compensate. Welcome. Its a great phone.

I find that nothing drains the battery on my phone faster than sitting in a poor coverage area where it is constantly searching for a signal. Also, 4G is a battery hog. I don't know if any of those things apply to you, but it's the first thing I would look into if it was me. Enjoy your new phone! you won't miss Sense for long.

I too was thinking that was pretty good considering how much time I used my phone when I first got it. Check the screen on time, that should give you a good idea of your battery life.

Most if it is the Android OS, those 3hrs the phone was damn near idle.
