new patch pushed to thrive tonight...

so far it appears to have fixed the sleep mode issue, which was my only complaint about the thrive to date

It's in my Service Station but I think I'll wait till tomorrow to download it. I've not had the issue with the sleep mode, and I kinda feel like "if it's not broke, don't fix it"!

The ”App Place” and ”Start Place” apps have been force closing on me on a pretty regular basis. On the plus side, I didn't have any of the sleep problems.

The new patch has shown up for me, too. I just experienced my first sleep bug event a few hours ago, so I will download it later. I am curious what it does, though.

i actually just experienced the sleep bug for the first time this morning, after installing the 0023 update yesterday afternoon..

One of the other forums said that the official Thrive forum said that the update improves multitasking.

That information came from an administrator on the official Toshiba Support Forums for the Thrive. He said the update was a regularly scheduled update and has nothing to do with the sleep issue. He assured everyone that they are working on a fix and will let people know as soon as they have it.

I never had the "sleep" problem until I installed this update. I set my WiFi sleep policy to NEVER and I haven't had the problem since.
