New phone for the end of 2012?

I have only been a member heer for a few days, but I have been reading posts like crazy and have made a few of my own posts. In all of my reading in these forums I have come across a lot of similar thinking about when will we ever be satisfied with the phones we have, and that how can they possibly produce anything much better without some major break through work. Well, I have just watched a video on youtube of some astonishing work, I recently have purchased a brand new laser home theater projector for my home and have been quite impressed with it. The picture is amazing and the unit is small and compact. I was thinking about getting another for travel so was researching online and came across this video on youtube, (I will post the link below) but notice what they are stating as their intended application for this laser projector that is the size of your pinky..

I opened this thread thinking I would hear of a new HTC phone rumor.

But umm, no, I don't think we'll see projectors in smartphones. I've literally have never heard 1 single person say they wanted or needed this, let alone think it was a good idea.

It's kind of like having the heads up display in your glasses. Great in concept, horrible in execution because of lack of practicality. Kinda like Siri...
