Today, my Samsung S25 128GB Mint was delivered.
I'm curious what everyone does with their new phones?
Take a few pics, out of the box.
Being at home, I don't really bother with the case or tempered glass when setting it up.
I change the name of my phone, my girl's name, Kimberly.
I love Nova Prime but I usually spend a few hours with the OS, One UI. I disable/uninstall Google, Samsung apps. The only bloatware I get is my carriers app.
This is when I spend the next hour customizing and just playing with my new phone. I always set it up as new, I never copy from back ups or other phones.
Later tonight is when I'll install Nova and Icons where I spend an hour or two customizing Prime and changing every icon.
Just to compare, my younger brother put his phone in the case, asked me to install the tempered glass. He then signs in and downloads all his apps. Done.
He doesn't care that he won't ever sort his apps.
I only know this because last year I finally convinced him to upgrade his S10+ and traded it in for S24+ and watched him set it up.
