New picture folder?

I found I have a new picture folder on my xoom. Its called instant upload. The pics in it were taken with my phone and I have no idea how they got to the xoom and im unable to erase them.... so my question is how did they get there and how can I delete the pics??? I've clicked on highlighted them but no option to delete..

get a file explorer and try and find the folder and delete the whole thing.

Ya those pics are from your Google + account. You can't erase them cause they weren't taken with that device. Your phone must auto upload pics to Google+. If you want to get rid of them you need to delete them from Google +. And they aren't stored on your Xoom. Its coming from the cloud.

Finally got to it and they r removed.. thanks everyone!! Also disabled the auto upload...
