In the beginning that I tried them I was annoying and switched back to the previous gestures of Android 9 .
Then I gave them a second try and after a couple of days I was perfectly adapted in them.
it's absolutely easier and faster navigation ,as well as I like the margin of a bit bigger screen by cancelling the traditional navigation buttons.
Now I never think to go back!

I'm loving gestures. I came from an S9 and gestures on that phone were a joke. I also got used to using the back button on the right side of the nav bar. But I love the swipe from the left or right side of the screen to go back. Back in the day, I rooted my Nexus phone just to be able to swap the back and recent app buttons. I can easily use my phone one handed using gestures, whereas if I were using the Nav bar I'd have to use two hands to hit the back button.
