Does anybody know if I purchase a new, unopened, never activated Pixel XL from Swappa, Ebay etc. that was either a replacement for a Nexus 6P or broken device will I still qualify for a warranty and the unlimited photo storage on Google?

I can only report my experiences here. I had an issue with a phone while back that was purchased third party and they were not going to cover the warranty, they said the warranty does but follow the phone with third purchase such as eBay, swappa, or even a friend.

Like I said, this was my experience a few years ago, I almost got thrown out of the Verizon store.

You used to be able to have the seller transfer the warranty thru Google. I'm not sure if its still possible as I forgot to check into it when I bought my XL at Swappa last month. I just bought a Squaretrade warranty, 2 yrs for $129.
Either way you'll still have the unlimited cloud storage.
